Casa Chango

Casa Chango Retreat Center is an eco chic artist retreat center nestled in the tropical forest just outside of Puerto Escondido, Mexico. Casa Chango borders the beautiful Río Colotepec just 2 kilometers (1 mile) inland from the beach. The air is fresh, the water is warm, and it is immersed in nature.

On property are gardens, tropical fruit trees, trail to the beautiful river, and our animal family (dogs, cats, and chickens coming soon). Community spaces include an infinity swimming pool, jacuzzi, and dining area as well as our huge open air circus gym.

Accommodations

Casa Chango accommodations include 13 private rooms and 2 dorm rooms. All of the cabañas are built with eco friendly materials that keep them cool all day and night. The farm is off grid and self-sustaining with composting toilets, solar energy, filtered well water and a filtered gray water system for the gardens. The buildings are surrounded by fruit trees, coconut palms, gardens, and flowers.
