African Silks and Safari

Are you ready for the adventure of a lifetime in beautiful South Africa!! Held at the beautiful Cradle Moon lodge located in the heart of the African bush-veld amidst the rocky hills within the Cradle of Humankind, a Unesco world heritage site, this spectacular hidden gem set within the 1500 hectare Cradle Moon Conservancy, With over 50 kilometres of mountain biking and running trails as well as being home to over 20 species of wild animals, including rhino, Giraffe, Leopard, Eland, Kudu, Red Hartebeest, Black Wildebeest, Blue Wildebeest, Zebra, Duiker, Impala, Springbuck, Blesbuck, Brown Hyena, Jackal and Aardwolf. The property also boasts a 32 hectare pristine lake which not only offers the entire option of all non motorized water sports, but is also home to a family of Hippo. Also, don’t be alarmed if a herd of Zebra come and have a little drink of water while you are relaxing in the pool or if giraffes come visit you while eating your lunch!

Our South African retreat will offer Aerial Silks and Hammock class in the morning followed by exciting and adventurous cultural tour and activities in the afternoon, which include Game drives, a horseback safari, a visit to the Lion and safari park, feeding Giraffes. We will also a visit the Lesedi cultural village where you will discover the fascinating cultures and traditions of the people of Africa, visiting five homesteads inhabited by Zulu, Xhosa, Pedi, Basotho and Ndebele tribes who live according to tribal folklore and traditions of the ancestors. There will also be an opportunity to visit the Elephant sanctuary as well as a Big Cat Sanctuary where you get up close and personal with these beautiful creatures.
